Brightness control
The brightness of the display can be adjusted for when the sound system
is in standby and for when it is in use. If you use the unit in the bedroom,
you may prefer a lower standby brightness level than the standard setting.
There are three Standby brightness levels and 3 levels for when the radio
is in use.
1. Press the On/Standby button to switch on your sound system. Access
the menu for the current mode by pressing the Menu button.
2. Rotate the Tuning/Select control until 'System settings' is highlighted
on the display. Press the control to enter the System Settings menu.

The current setting will be marked with an asterisk.

When the sound system is in Standby mode, pressing a button or turning a

level for a few seconds. This is so that even if the standby brightness level
is set low, it is still possible to see the time when needed.
